Vancouver City Hall sketch

IMG_3370Last Wednesday I had the privilege to be invited to visit Vancouver City Hall and do my urban sketch from their offices on the top floor. The weather that day was stunning and the view.. well, as you can see below, was amazing. BC place, Top of Vancouver, Shangri-La, the Sheraton hotel, Cambie street bridge, false creek, the mountains… I was so happy to be able to capture so many iconic landmarks of our city.
Processed with VSCOcam with t1 preset
And hour later and this is what I came up with.
The lovely social media coordinator even instagramed my visit. *insert big toofy grin here* : )IMG_3377.png
Thank you, Vancouver City Hall for this amazing opportunity!

hello Fall ♥

Just like that September (and Summer) is done and October (thus Fall) is here. For once I am quite excited about this Fall, mainly because of something to look forward to at the end of the month. Recently my husbunny & I found our dream two bedroom apartment (smoke-free, pet-friendly, large two bedrooms, walk-in closet, brand new appliances, hardwood floors, dishwasher AND $100 below our budget) and we’ll be moving at the end of October. We are super thrilled, especially since we don’t even have to leave our (mostly mine) favourite neighbourhood (West End) or even the favourite micro-neighbourhood (west of Denman street part of West End). I am super attached to my English Bay and Stanley park and it was painful to imagine giving it up and, luckily, we don’t have to.
With that good news being told, I also wanted to announce that I’ll be having a Moving Sale this month. Moving sale will include crafty scrapbooking goodness, project life materials and even some of my original art work, all heavily discounted. So please stay tuned for that : )
And so, hello October. I am looking forward to your adventures. ♥
