Hello, my lovelies!
Another Thursday, another Get Messy awesomeness.
The two pages I’m sharing with you today are quite different in style. One was made entirely out of left over scrapbook kit supplies, and the other one is basically a full on painted page. You can view how this first page came to be in my step by step process on Citrus Twist Blog here. This next page is probably one of my favourites. I mean it’s bright, colourful and full of neon happiness. Very Olya-like 🙂
And that’s it for today. Don’t forget to check out this month’s prompt, created by yours truly.

Get Messy is an art journal challenge where a gang of crafty vixens are sharing art journal pages we have created to practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. We share our pages without restraint every week, and once a month we create around a prompt. Go check out these crazy talented ladies who are creating pages who each have a unique perspective and style. We will be sharing our work around social media so follow the hashtag #getmessyartjournal.

YES to your YES page! 🙂
I love your pages! So vibrant and you combine different elements so well. Thanks for sharing. The sentiment is spot on, too.

Your first page is so pretty and I love how bright and colourful your painted page is. Gorgeous x
Your painted page is beautiful! I love how neon and colorful it is. No way could I do that.
Love being able to use my leftovers and stash! That’s one of the reasons I love to art journal; it seems like I have an easier time making use of those items!
Lovely pages, both of them but I am totally digging the first one w/ it’s silver pieces (I hate gold!) and torn edges!
YES INDEED!!!
Also, I’m totally in love with the prompt you made for us this month. God, you’re cool.
Uncustomary Art.
neon goodness!!!
Your pages are so different, yet both so beautiful! I love your unrestrained use of colour, so pretty!!! xx Bec
Oh! YES! So good! I need to channel your color goddess-ness and get neon for a page or two of my own. I love the bright. It’s good for the eyes, as well as the heart. <3
Also, so loving the prompt!
I love the bright colours and abstract painting on your second page. Just beautiful.
Love your first page but absolutely ADORE your second page. Colour. Neon. Olya perfection! xxxx
Love that colorful page so much!! Such happy hues 🙂
I haven’t got much ‘leftovers’ yet as this past month was my first art journaling, but I really like the idea of seeing what you can do with the bits and bobs from past projects. I think your page turned out lovely!
Love your new web site title thing, top bit. Haven’t noticed that before is it new? Lovely.
Very cheery pages too.
Love both pages so much!
thank you so much, Elizabeth. You’re always so sweet <3
