Oh, Thursday, you’re like a breath of fresh art journaling air in the middle of a busy week. Yes, it is indeed Thursday, which means it’s another round of a Get Messy crafty internet party.
This week’s pages are simple. First page has some washi tapes and a photograph as an Ode to my beautiful city. Second page has a mix of acrylic paints, scrabble-like alphas, some baker’s twine and stickers. Simple and doable, just the way I like it. Maybe one of these days I’ll actually add some journaling to my art journals, you never know 😉

Get Messy is an art journal challenge where a gang of crafty vixens are sharing art journal pages we have created to practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. We share our pages without restraint every week, and once a month we create around a prompt. Go check out these crazy talented ladies who are creating pages who each have a unique perspective and style. We will be sharing our work around social media so follow the hashtag #getmessyartjournal.

Olya in the first one I love your use of a photo and white space, mixed with a bunch of washi tape that look awesome layered in that way. Then I love your second page and the mix of white, yellow and pink paint that looks gorgeous and so pretty together. Love it!
