Hello hello and welcome to another Get Messy Thursday. (it sounds like a big party full of drunk people, but really it’s just us, the crafty vixens)
I’m still not a huge fan of intros and such, so.. here are my two pages this week:First page is a collage of a vintage book page, a recent photograph of my husbunny and I holding hands on a summer day, some stickers and some washi. Badaboom, done.
The second page below is basically an ode to my watercolour obsession, as well as my two favourite colours, yellow and turquoise. Those two colours just make me so happy, hence the perfect chipboard sticker from My Mind’s Eye. This week I also want to share some urban sketches I recently did outside.
Exhibit A is from Stanley Park, overlooking a peek of downtown Vancouver. Exhibit B is a little (literally) sketch from our beach day this past weekend.
And Exhibit C is an even smaller sketch of summer: green leaves against bright blue sky. Hello, little perfect moments. That’s what this is all about.
and that’s all for this week 🙂
Be sure to visit Lauren’s page to find out a NEW prompt for this month. We will all share our prompted creations on the last Thursday of the month. If it’s anything like the last month’s crazy link-up party ( 😉 ) it will be AMAZING. I guarantee it. *insert thumbs up emoji here*

Get Messy is an art journal challenge where a gang of crafty vixens are sharing art journal pages we have created to practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. We share our pages without restraint every week, and once a month we create around a prompt. Go check out these crazy talented ladies who are creating pages who each have a unique perspective and style. We will be sharing our work around social media so follow the hashtag #getmessyartjournal.
