Happy Get Messy Thursday, you lovely people!
I’m still loving my new art journal format and I’m still rolling with the simplicity concept. Don’t overthink it, don’t overdo it.
Speaking of not overthinking things, I never know what to write for an into here, so let’s just go straight to the pages, shall we?
First page is a mini collage of stickers, washi tapes, watercolour background, feather and some journaling in form of a quote. Second page is even more simple: stickers and journaling about my daily routine. Like I said, I’m no longer overthinking or stressing about how full my pages need to look.
And here are the two pages together.
P.S. As I’m writing this I am currently nursing a cold. But I’m wearing a big scarf and drinking tea out of my new mug with magic bunnies on it and it makes everything better. Oh yes.
That’s all for this week. As always, be sure to check out the other Get Messy journals as well.
Get Messy is an art journal challenge where a gang of crafty vixens are sharing art journal pages we have created to practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. We share our pages without restraint every week, and once a month we create around a prompt. Go check out these crazy talented ladies who are creating pages who each have a unique perspective and style. We will be sharing our work around social media so follow the hashtag #getmessyartjournal.

best cup ever! I love the look of the two pages together, they play off each other nicely.
So much vibrant color!! Also, I truly do believe that killing people with kindness will always lead you to where you ought to be. (Hard work obviously helps too ^^)
Amazing, as always 🙂
LOVE the way you made your daily routine list. I think I want to do more daily life stuff in here to have it documented better/differently. Youre so inspiring!
Oh wow, these are bright and beautiful!! So into them. I like the idea of explaining who you are on your pages. Might follow a similar theme next week.
Hope you feel better soon, darling!
Uncustomary Art.
Your pages are always amazing!
Beautiful pages Olya. Oh and there is a feather! Yes.
I almost think this is where I fail not only with my get messy album that I am getting back into today, but crafts in general. I tend to over think……… Over thinking leads to doubt for me. So I really love this post Olya and your pages are always gorgeous as are these.
I hope your feeling better soon, but really that mug is AMAZING and should make anyone feel better xx
